The 10TH Annual Frogtown Crawfish Festival

There will be live music all day both days to include:
A Pink Floyd Tribute Band and Dave Matthews Tribute Band! Also, Groove Monkeys, Stay Classy, Misty Harbor, Vinyl 45, Brittany Avery and more!

A LIVE LOUISIANA CRAWFISH BOIL is going on both days as well. There will be tons of food, arts and crafts, games, inflatables, raffles and good family fun!

It's time again for the 2017 Hatchet Creek Festival- May 20-21, 2017. Two day float down beautiful Hatchet Creek in Coosa County. Registration fee include camping gear, shuttled to the campsite, driver's shuttle from the take out location, supper and breakfast at the campsite and participant T-shirt. For ages 12 years old and up. Registration fee is $40.00 (non-refundable) and is due on or before April 30th. For more information, you may contact the Coosa County Extension Office at 256-377-4713.

The Union Volunteer Fire and Rescue 9UVF&R) will host its 35th Annual Spring Festival on May 20th 2017.  The Festival will feature a wide variety of arts and craft booths and household items for sale.  The Festival will also present live local musicians, BBQ plates for sale, children's games and other activities designed for the entire family.  The keynote event is a cash raffle that historically has awarded thousands in cash prizes.  For individuals interested in renting a booth cost is only $10 for a 10x10 space.  If you have questions, or would like to rent a booth, please contact Kurt Pfitzner, Director, Community Outreach, UVF&R, at 334-233-9852.

This festival is one of the largest hot air balloon gatherings in the Southeast, featuring more than 60 balloons with races, key grab, tether rides and a balloon glow. There will be arts and crafts, food vendors, an antique car and tractor show, musical entertainment and children's activities.
