Conditions are ripe for the lake to come out of it's banks. The water has been raising slowly all day. Better be safe than sorry.

I've been expecting it any day. But they have been doing a great job of keeping things level.

Peace,

Between the rains now and the rains back when we flooded in Feb? Seems like we are having much more rain now.

I think the difference is that in January, we got 8 to 9 inches over a couple of days. This time, it has been spread out over more
time and they were also expecting it, which they were not in January. I agree, they have done a great job managing it thus far.

I agree, APCOhas done a good job keeping the lake at respectful levels. We dodged the bullet on this one and for that I am am grateful. The way I travel, the last thing I need to worry is if the lake is going to flood or not.

Me too. We live in Atlanta half the time and here half time plus I travel on business a lot. Was in North Carolina in January during the flood and had it not been for a couple of very good friends would most likely have lost a pontoon and boat house.
