I want to install a water separator on my pontoon for a 2006 Honda 150. I’m looking for information on how to size up the GPH for the filter system? Any recommendation on manufacture Rancor, Sierra or other?

I don't think your engine is capable of maybe 30-40GPH, but it never hurts to go larger. Most any brands are of good quality. Should you not want to do this yourself, I have some used ones at the shop. I will install for you. Reversing the in and out on fuel and oil filters causes a flow problem. Make sure you get the fuel lines installed with the correct flow direction. There is a < and > (in and out) cast in the filter adaptor. Also, I assume you have a rubber fuel line coming from your tank with a squeeze primer bulb in between! If all possible, place your filter inline before the bulb, thus pulling the fuel through the filter. This will assure you that you will not pressurize the filter or stir up water and settiments when priming the system. I hope you find this information useful. Wal-Mart carries these kits as well. When installing your fittings in the filter adaptor use a good thread tape/sealer so the fuel want eat it up and cause a leak.
