Once again we are reminded that we do not own the property surrounding the lake. I have always heard if they flood Neely it will pour into down town Gadsden, I do not know this to be true. Each year we hear their will be no more floods and they will not drop the water to winter level 460 feet. So those of us who live here on the lake just enjoy it when we have water cause the time where we have to wade the mud to get in our boats is still fresh on all our minds. Alabama powere giveth and they taketh.

I understand why they don't flood Henry, and that makes sense, but they could hold several feet of water right now and not be flooded like Logan is... I just think they could manage the water levels better than they do.. I thought they did a great job all year with all the rain we had, especially since we were at full pool... that's why I can't understand why it is flooding now, because Weiss and Henry neither one is full... oh well, I guess it will always be the same..

A.P. is sitll saying that the crest won't come until Sunday or Monday. But the National Weather Service site is saying that we
are crested now and will start falling tomorrow. Roll the dice and see to believe. It is hard to believe that this situation could not have been handled a little better by A.P. But I will give them credit, they did a very good job all summer.
