WEEK 11: In what proved to be another tough week for picking against the spread, HARLEYRIDER rode an even pace all afternoon and hit most of the really tough ones on his way to collecting
15 points out of the 22 possible. That makes for an impressive
68% win ratio and easily placed himself alone at the top for the
week. AJ'S DAD makes another appearance in the money hitting 13 games which was good for 2nd place for the week. JOHN GALT,
JLAZC, MUDDAUBER, and OT each gathered in 12 points and finishing in the order listed via the Tiebreaker.
JLAZC, LAKEDUDE, and TALISI are now knotted at the top of the OVERALL results with 126 points each with HARLEYRIDER moving up with 121. The DROP WORST 3 option now shows TALISI and LAKEDUDE
tied with 103 points with JLAZC just behind at 121. There are still a number of others who could make the show before it's all over. There are 4 more weeks to go with the number of games tailing off for weeks 14 and 15. A winner will be named after week 15 and the bowls pool will begin shortly thereafter. Congratulations to the top finishers for the week and good luck to all in week 12.

Way to go HARLEYRIDER!!!!! You taking top spot makes this ole Harley (Fatboy) rider proud of our brotherhood in Harleys. 15 out of 22.....I'm impressed.

Congratulations to HR and our leaders. Um, isn't next week the bye week for our top 5? lol.
Looking more n more like the polls are going to have to figure out what they will do with TCU and Boise State. Neither team looks like they will cooperate and just plain lose to make it easy for them.

..good point 'dauber...Cincy, BS, and TCU are good enough to beat anybody on a given date but whether or not either is better than the survivor of the FL, AL, Tex trio is a question that will likely have no answer. Time for the +1 playoff...

My reference to "in the money" in the above post could be misleading to someone who is not a member of the pool...used that as strictly a convenient reference...anyone doubting this only needs to join our pool using the instructions posted in August
and they will quickly understand that this is all for fun...no gambling of any form....just thought I would post this to head off any potential problem for Bruce.

Money wagered, no. Lots of fun, yes. As I sit in 16th place out of 20, I can assure everyone I have not, nor will I wager in this or any other pool of any kind. I've rather grown fond of eating on a regular basis, wouldn't afford to throw away money like that.
Now, if someone wanted to take up a "collection" to send one of our pickmeisters to Vegas, I might just be interested. Given how well some are doing, not sure we'd call that gambling.
