I do follow football, even though my picks don't evidence that. So many bowls, whats the deal with the Outback? Is that a good thing, or bad?
btw, BBall, which I don't follow, I did well with my picks. Go figure.

The Outback Bowl is a bit of a prize for a 7-5 team..it is a New Year's Day Bowl with the #3 pick from Big Ten being the opponent...although not official, all indications are that it is a done deal for Auburn....good payout, nice weather...

....good payout, nice weather, drunk drivers and family squabble drivers in Florida, 10:00 (count them 10:00) AM kickoff. Auburn must learn how to play better at brunch.

i went back in the 90's...i was in college...i don't remember the exact year.... nice weather my rear end!!! it rained non stop... we got spanked by Penn State (i think it was penn state) ...it was a nightmare getting to the stadium....and we had an 8 hour drive home.... i'll watch it on tv this year...

we did have fun in y'bor city (a latino new orleans) and had a spectacular meal at Shell's..

I was there with you ot. I think it was Jan ’96 and the weather was so bad we left at the end of the third quarter. That was either the last bowl game in the old stadium or close to the last. At that time, had record low temps for Jan. 1. Also had record lows in Orlando several years later when AU played there. We don’t seem to play too well when it’s cold and/or early.

..never mind...guess it was just the league trying to squelch bowl pairings until Sunday...
