I have the BIG one set up. It will be a straight pick'em pool (no spreads). Deadline for making your picks is kickoff of the first bowl game on Dec. 19. This pool will be great for all regardless of skill level...hopefully we can pull in many who have never played before. If you played the Palooza pool this fall, all you have to do is go to Pooltracker and log in if needed...click on my pools and the first one listed should be
Pool ID 36865 named 2009 Big Bowl Bonanza...click EDIT PICKS and the games should appear ready for picking. NOTE: Mav and TWC, you are both already enrolled...just log on, click MY POOLS. If you have NEVER played before, follow the instructions below:
1. Go to www.pooltracker.com
2. Click on JOIN A POOL
3. Enter 36865 under Pool ID (or hit browse, 2, and fourth one
down is 2009 Big Bowl Bonanza)
4. Enter your e-mail address.
5. Enter the screen name you want to use. We would prefer that
you use your forum name if you have one...email address not
recommended for your screen name but pooltracker will
enter that as a default unless you enter a different one.
6. Hit the join or submit button and pooltracker will enroll
you and send enrolling info to your e mail box.
NOTE: I am working on a second pool which will involve spreads and a floating deadline. More on that soon.....

but spreads have not been entered yet. This is a second pool for those who want to be challenged by the spreads. I have already enrolled all those who were on the Palooza roll at start of season..this pool should show up second when you are logged in and click on MY POOLS. I am experimenting with a 'floating deadline' where you may change your picks for a game right up until the kickoff for that particular game. I recommend that you make all your picks prior to Kick of the first game Dec. 19 and then make modifications as you are allowed to do so...otherwise, you may miss out entirely on a game if you forget or unable to get to computer when you planned to. This pool is also open to anyone wanting to play even if you have not played previously...just refer to the general info above and use the pool id info listed right here:
Pool ID is 36918

NOTE: YOU WILL NOT NEED A PASSWORD FOR THIS POOL OTHER THAN THAT USED FOR YOUR OWN LOG IN.

you to list the pool PASSWORD....BUT THIS IS NOT REQUIRED...if you encounter a problem, post here or email me...

Perhaps some of Cat's snakeoil (i mean chicken oil) is needed to negotiate the bowl pools. I used my normal login process and saw the bowl listings with no problems.
P.C. you should be able to do the same. BigFoot already has us registered for the bowl pools.

hey P.C...the email address that you used to join the Palooza pool will log you in if you put it in both the user name and also the password blanks..but I saw that it did not load the 2 new pools for you under MY POOLS....not sure why not...but I will work on it..in the meantime, try again to sign in...if unsuccessful, fill in the info that triggers pooltracker to send you your login info..assuming that you still have the same email address...let me know if additional help needed...

Well there you have it. The bowl pool has not started yet and I already have an incorrect pick.....go figure. I should have known to defer to BF on those high tech questions.

lakngulf...did the 2 new pools come up for you immediately upon clicking My Pools?...I have a couple that did not...wondering if there is a little glitch in pooltracker or a little glitch in da commish...

P.C. I have deleted your entry with email as screen name...you should have the correct 3 pools showing soon...when another update is run...when you put your picks in, use only the one with P.C. as your screen name if duplicates still showing...

I think I was not clear with my post...yes, log in the way you would do it...putting your email in both the user name and password space and you should be ok...if all your pools have not shown up yet, I think they will eventually...
