I know we are having a very cold Jan, but I hope to attack Martin this winter for some striper and crappie. If anyone has some news, let us know.

Took a couple of buddies out last Saturday for stripes in the 20 mph wind, temps that never got out of the 30s, and muddy water all the way down to camp Alamasco. Got over fish on mid-lake humps, but the bite was slow in muddy water. We ended up with 3 to 10 lbs, and had several knockdowns on our downlined shad. Tough day on the water. My buddy Tyler went the next day and had about the same luck using the same tactics.
I plan to regroup this weekend and let the arctic blast get out of here. Maybe the water will clear some as well over the next week. I finally got my website back going again, and I'm gonna finish working on it this weekend so I can post new fishing reports and pics. I'll have some new stuff up this weekend.
Tight Lines! Wes
