Years ago when we lived in Florence Al we hada bread starter that was fed potato flakes every 3-5 days. Ours died sometime in the past few years and I'm ready to start back making bread. Does anyone have a recipe that sounds like this one?

I think that would be a sourdough starter. You would have to get the starter with yeast to do it again...let's see...King Arthur Flour can get you going but here's the recipe from the Elvis of Cooking....
