If you have not participated in our pools before, just follow the simple instructions below. Please post or email me if you need help:
1. go to www.pooltracker.com (see link below) and click on "join a pool"
2. To join our pool, use 40592 in the Pool ID block or click on "find a pool" and browse under L for Lakes Madness 2010
3. Disregard the block for pool password...not required for our pool
4. Provide a valid e-mail address in the next block
5. Fill in the screen name you wish to use in the pool...preferrably your lakes online forums screen name if you have one. If you do not fill in the screen name you wish to use, pooltracker will put your email address in as screen name.
6. Finally, check the little square that you agree to the terms and conditions and click Join
This site is a trusted site that we have used for several years. It has very little advertisement and no popups that I am aware of.
Once you have joined, click on "My Pools" while logged in and our pool will appear on your page...click on edit picks and fill out your brackets prior to high noon on Thursday, March 18. Thanks for joining and hope you enjoy the tournament.

When you are making your picks, once you have finished picking the winners for round 1, go on to each successive round and do the same until you reach the championship game and pick your winner for the final game....THEN pick the tiebreaker score which is the total points scored by both teams in the championship game.

I had posted the entry deadline as HIGH NOON on Thurs....but that is Eastern time...so the ALABAMA deadline is 11:00 AM on Thursday morning....

Last year I kept changing picks right upto the deadline and that didn't help. Louie and Sugar said that go with the first thing you see and that is what I did. Picks were in Yesterday and saved. Probably won't do any better but now I have teams to pull for in each game.

<said humbly> I probably know more about ncaa hoops than ncaa football, but since most top players go 1 and done to the pros it can be a crapshoot.
