This is a gpx file of all the LMRA placed buoys as of 7/2009.

Click on the link and then 'Save as..'

This is a great idea, and thank you!

However, I am not getting a gpx file to download. Just a page of text, obviously a list of these buoys. Am I doing something wrong?

Again, thanks!

Very nice family site, as well.

Just right click the link and "save as..."

... make sure you give it a '.gpx' extension. I used EasyGPS to create it, if you need an application to load it to your GPS.

Thanks! It's a little outdated.

I'm new to having a GPS for the lake and still climbing the learning curve. I don't have this download figured out, but this will be nice when I do. I downloaded easy gps and the file, but can't get easy gps to find the file. I think it may be because it saved as a .gpx/html file. If you has more hints, let us know and I'll keep on trying.

Once I get the info into easy gps, I assume the next step is to put it on a memory card and insert into my gps card reader..???

Just rename the file 'LakeMartinBuoys.gpx'.

Either your GPS software or EasyGPS will be able to read the file and send the waypoints to your device.

I have all the waypoints in a .gdb file if that would help any Garmin users. Just pop me an email to stevecrane@charter.net

Found a cool android app that will import the buoy waypoints:
"GPS Essentials".  Just go to the waypoint function, import and type in the URL.

Old link is not functional.  Here's a another one.  https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RjcMoZeEjjrFaemekc-5dfb1K9Y&usp=sharing

You can download a KML file from there and import into GPS applications.
