ROUND 4: DUPONT still holds a one-pt. lead but is out of gas. The DUKEmobile sputtered but kept rolling leaving the cases all cut and dried. If Duke wins NO more, BAMABOB wins. If Duke wins just ONE more, then PC AL takes it. If Duke wins the tournament, then SMITTY reaches in the hat, pulls out a rabbit, and changes his name to Houdini! DUPONT and BLMEANIE needed some help from Baylor today to stay alive. Both have had a good run in a difficult tourney and are to be congratulated. In the SWEET 16 brackets, MADDOG, PC AL, and TWC are running 1,2, and 3...but the scenarios machine throws JOHNGALT into the mix consistently. Congrats to all those mentioned above and hunker down for a wild FINAL FOUR!!

It seems a little suspicious, BF, that for each pickin contest there is always a "newbie" that has a chance to win. What's up with that? My first thought is that BF is using a new name each time so he can win and we not know it. Or, does BF let the new guys win so they are hooked like the rest of us?
Thanks, BF, for being our leader. It is fun, and makes the games more interesting, except that I forget who I pick. Congrats to the leaders, this has been a wild bracket.

Sadly, LNG, I must report that BigFoot really stinks at picking basketball and just mediocre at football...keep waiting for my ship to come in. Now I don't know this Dupont...anybody know him?...maybe he will post here...he had some incredible picks..finally figured out the BFD shirt thingie...BF is a little slow sometimes but I do remember hearing a blurb on TV about that...

yeah....just who is this Dupont anyway? He/she sure has been quiet too. They've been "on cruise control" through this whole thing. At least brag about it a little.
I was really pulling for Baylor. My wifes boss is a Duke alum and I was hoping..... well....nevermind. But since my chances were busted, I thought Baylor and Butler would be a fun final.

I was the REAL newbie, not even joining in the pool until the sweet 16. Seriously, the first time 'after' my picks that I watched most of every fun filled game. Thanks guys for letting me play, especially BF for setting us all up.

Well, I’m a “newbie” to BigFoot’s pools but my neighbor, Lakngulf, has been telling me since the beginning I should join, so I finally did. Enjoyed it BigFoot and thanks for all your efforts. Now I am in the position of needing Duke to win only one in the big pool, yet need them to win it all in the Sweet 16. Guess that means Duke doesn’t have a chance in their next game.

My goal was to do better than last year so I accomplished that. If West Virginia beats Duke then I'll be a monkey's uncle. Thought sure I was going to do worse than last year after all of the upsets. Congrats to all who picked Butler. Never thought Tennessee would get that far. Thanks BigFoot for keeping us active.
Next....baseball and grass cutting!!!!
