Well I went over to Poor house marina yesterday to see if my boat had been worked on and Mike said it will be ready in about 5 min. I took my 24 foot pontoon over on the 3rd and in a week they cleaned my boat and I mean it was dirty moss growing everywhere and the pontoons looked bad I guess they used acid to clean all the aluminum but now for an 1988 it looks great. they also replaced the transom that's the plywood that holds the motor on the aluminum, replaced the 2 plywood pieces that you enter from the front. And they replaced the water impeller which requires removing the bottom half of the motor, gas filter, spark plugs, cleaned out the gas tank and fuel lines, and resurfaced my propeller. Well I took it out for test run for about 2 hours and for whatever reason the thing runs about 5 miles an hour faster . I put a new 115hp 4 stroke on the boat in 2004 and it has never run right and I've had it worked on about 10 times under warranty at well I won't say were. I told mike it wasn't running right , but it is now.! No I don't work for Mike but I have living on the lake for 7 years and I just think a good job needs to be acknowledged.

I have the most awesome repair guy ever.... the place is called Ed's Inboards... they also work on I/O's. The only problem is that they are between Murfresboro and Smyrna TN.... However, If I lived within 100 miles of Prattville, I would take my boat to the Cathouse. If he is as good in person as he was to me on the phone and in email, helping me to replace my Mercruiser impeller, then he would certainly get my business.
