I am new to Logan Martin and was wondering where some places to eat are located on the lake that have docks for visitors.

Which end of the lake are you on?

I am on the lower end close to the dam and can recomend a few places depending on your taste.

Mikes Steaks - at Rivers Edge Marina - Very good a resonable for a steak house

Pier 59 - Very good food but depending on who you talk to you will get a different story about the place and the people that hang out there. We go there regularly mostly for the food and even take our kids. After dark is really the oonly time I would not take the kids.

Clear Creek Marina - Good food and lots of boat parking - no alcohol served

Lakeside Landing - They started a litlle grill resturant with burgers and misc grill food and you can bring your own drinks and has a picnic sitting in the trees.

Poor House - They have a similar place on the water serving hamburger and hotdogs.

Not sure what else is up past Stemley Bridge......

Thanks for the info. I actually have my boat at Riversedge marina. Mike's is there but is not open every day for lunch. My wife and I were out yesterday wanted to stop for lunch but did not know where to go and what was open. I know where Clear Creek is now and will try to locate the others on the lake map.

When you come out toward the main channel Pier 59 is on your right - blue and white building with a line of housboats in front. There is lots of parking on the other side of the housboats.

El Lago Mexican Grille just opened up on July1st! We are right on the Coosa River by the Hwy78 Truss bridge. We are located right beside The Ark restaurant. Come check us out! We've got lunch specials starting at just $4.25!

I forgot to mention that we also have boat parking at the restaurant. :-)
