Just FYI yall. Anybody that stopped by the fireworks display at Stemley Bridge and stayed till the end. Everybody is OK. If you don't know what I'm talking about, well, you missed a great show.

Yep, everybody is fine. I just went over to survey the damage. I put the pics on my Facebook but I can't figure out how to get them here. It's really not that bad. A broom and couple of gallons of paint and that project is finished. Doesn't look like any structural damage at all.

Seems the offending trick blew out the side instead of going up. Which then set off everything around it. What should have been a 10 minute finale wound up being a 45 second or so fireball.

My wife said she counted 58 boats drifting around watching and that was just from the bridge down.

I hope everbody else was safe and had a great weekend.

We were out there last night TC. Just a bit south of the bridge anchored over on the St Claire County side. What in the world happened? We didn't see the fireball, although we all enjoyed the fireworks. It looked like they were shooting from both sides of the bridge from where we were. Pretty impressive! Capped off a great day on the lake for us!

The last box blew out the side of the box instead of going up. It was impressive to say the least.
