We are new in the area, near Stemley Bridge on the Pell City side and cannot find an internet provider that services the area. Any help will be appreciated.

We use them near the dam and outside of a few hiccups when we first started because we were the first one on the block with service it serves the purpose at a decent rate

I've got Charter on the Talladega side of Stemley Bridge. Works fine for me.

I have internet service with Coosa cable. The only issue I have with it is the service goes out frequently. I still prefer them over centurytel or whatever they are called now. I had a bad experience with Centurytel (not internet related) when I lived in trussville and try to avoid them at all cost. You will need to go with the higher speed service. The cheapest service is similar to dial up.

Do you have any problems with Charter Internet service dropping for no apparent reason? We are also on the Talladega side near Stemley Bridge, and lately have been having trouble with this. The cable is fine, so the TV still works, but the internet drops sporadically.

I have Charter in Birmingham with a wireless modem, When I am on my laptop (it has a signal meter) the signal goes up & down, I will sometimes loose the signal totally.
