Everyone on the east end of the lake help support Boondocks. blue eye creek by water just off Honda dr
by land. good food and drink on the water . there working on the docks but still have a place to tie up

little more detail on where they are by water, i'm in the middle of the lake on the St Clair side - across the lake from Lake Side Landing. What kind og food do they have & are they open for lunch & dinner?

Boondocks by water Go pass Riverside Marinaa and under I20 take the frist slough to the right and follow to the bridge at Honda Dr Boondocks is on the water on the right. Family place has a deck offers steaks, catfish , burgers , Drinks . Everything is from $8.00-$18.00

After at least a half-hour online, I still cannot solve the mystery of where Boondocks is located, or in what city, much less a phone number for them!
Any help with contact info would be greatly appreciated!

Jace you might start a new subject about this...... its pretty far down the list and people that can help may not notice ut.
From what I could tell by everyones description it is under the I 20 bridge either to the right or left going up river. I think the description was to the right and I think that is still riverside.

Boondocks Rest is located on BLUE EYE Creek at the Honda Dr bridge. From river go just north of I-20 bridge and go east into BEC. Follow the Creek and veer right then left around Paradise Island RV Campground till you see Boondocks on right just before Honda Dr bridge. From I-20, take exit 165, go north and Boondocks is on right just before the bridge, Good eating too!!

Thanks BlueEyePat -- but does anyone have a clue as to HOW TO CONTACT this place for info (hours of operation, days per week, etc.)?? Apparently they have NO web presence (not even a Facebook page), and NO PHONE listed anywhere in the vicinity of Riverside, Cropwell or Pell City. Baffling! Does anyone here know the owner, perhaps? Thanks for reading.

Sorry had a senoir moment when writing directions. Boondocks is on the left on Honda Drive before crossing bridge when going by car via I-20. Their phone number is 205-763-2294. Don't know hour though. They do have live music Fri at 8 and I think Sat too.

Thanks so much! I'm Russ Rosser, "the Ultimate One-Man Band," interested in performing there (specializing in any/all oldies/classic rock requests).
Until now, the best lead I had was the lady at Paradise Isle RV Park, who said the owner had come in recently. She generously offered to pass along my info (888-THE-OLDIES) the next time they go there for a delicious hamburger.
