The issue we had previously discussed with my Mercury 150 Verado has been fixed. It was apparently as the ECU diagnosed as a 'misfire'. ALL spark plugs and pencil coils were replaced and problem solved. Ran like a champ all last week, no issues.

One issue as I picked the boat up on Friday was as I pulled out onto hwy 49 the trailer came off my tow bar. :-(
Not the best start to the 4th of July weekend. I guess I should have checked that it was in place better. Other than trashing my jack wheel on the trailer no damage. Blue Creek personnel was out there in 2 seconds assisting me with getting the boat off the road and replaced the jack wheel in 2 mins so I could take off. Thanks to them for there assistance.

Congratulations. Did they replace plugs and coils under warranty? How old and how many hours do you have on the motor? Curious for possible future reference.

Good deal. As OSMS ask, I wonder why replacing ALL of them was the key? I enjoyed our phone conversation, and I am glad your underway and riding again. Sorry about your trailer getting unattached at the road. Accidents happen. Good thing it did not hit anything. Like I stated, I am sure you were in good hands there. Steve

The pencil coils were under warranty, the plugs were not. The plugs are considered maintenance, which makes sense. I had about 275 hours on the motor so they were about due to be replaced anyway. I think they replaced all coils and plugs to make sure they got which ever was causing the problem.

I've got a lot less hours and some warranty left.
