Chilton County Peach season is mid-June through August. However this year they are expecting the season to last till mid-September and one of the largest crops in over 3 years.

It does seem to be running later this year. I've eaten a basket of peaches just Monday and Tuesday of this week. I'm getting mine at Neighbor's Farm on Hwy 259.

I think I'll stop at Neighbors Farm. I understand they are tasty this year. I remember the first Alabama peach I ever had. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

LEANER BEDDER - They ain't Alabama Peaches, them good peaches are Chilton County Peaches. Feb - You are going to have to school this young lady in order to turn her into a true Southern Belle, as huge difference between general Alabama Peaches and Chilton County peaches. LOL.

long ago trying to make me anything other than what I am... LOL But, you are right. My first Alabama peach was a Chilton County Peach. It was right at the height of the season --- I bit into it and I just "knew" that this was how God intended for a peach to taste. That was a little over 30 years ago.
