I am in need of a choke solenoid for a Merrcury 650. The motor is about thirty (30) years old but runs great. Any suggestions?

The solinoid is around 200 bucks. Is yours a 3 or 4 cylinder? According to my resources, the plunger normally goes bad, and in some cases can be replaced seperatly. If I could see yours, I may could tell if I had a used one around here, ifyou are interested in a used part.
