just in time for Salmonella Season!!!

6 Cups Half and Half
14 oz. can Condensed milk
4 eggs
3/4 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Blend all with mixer. Freeze in Ice Cream maker(hopefully electric)  with crushed ice and lots of rock salt. Freeze leftovers in a plastic bowl with a lid plus a plastic wrap cover to retain moisture.

For coconut lovers, add a can of Coco Lopez coconut cream and about 10 oz. pulverized coconut to the mixture.
For peach or strawberry lovers, add maybe 2 cups crushed fruit to the mix. Fresh best, frozen OK too.

Follow directions on your Lipitor prescription and leave off all dairy products for about 1 month.

For a short cut, Williams Sonoma makes a really good ice cream base mix. Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

I also like throwing in a bunch of crushed Oreo's!

Will the flag be up tomorrow? I sure could use a cool treat after working on my deck all day.....

Just add rum to your vanilla base - be careful or it will not freeze (trust me). If that happens, just serve milkshakes instead; should not have any complaints.
