I had seen a juvenile in the spring that had not gotten his white head yet, the one is saw today was an adult with the white head

I saw one yesterday soaring around our house(near the cliffs). Magnificent! Last year they had a nest in a tree near Stemley Bridge (on the left before you get to the bridge going up river).

I did not realize until recently that we also had Osprey. I have seen one on school bus island and near the Marine Police H.Q. As with any bird of prey, pay particular attention to dead trees on the shoreline as they make great places to sit and watch for the next meal. They have a nest on Arrowhead point but I'm not sure thats where the one I saw came from.
About 4-5 months ago on Refroe rd where the Eagles had nested in the tree in the field i stopped and talked with a woman who had the camera to take the best pictures of Eagles I ever have seen. She had a photo album with her, and showed me the pics from when the
Eagles were mating to current young Eagles in the nest. She could probably make money on the ones she took.
