This Jordan Project is what we are trying to change for our lake so that water release is fair from top to bottom and not balanced toward one lake out of the seven on the Coosa......

Lake Conditions Message
Effective - 9/20/2010
In accordance with Alabama Power’s license for the Jordan Project, beginning Saturday, September 25, all weekend recreational releases will be cancelled until further notice. Dry conditions have resulted in low inflows and storage reservoir elevations more than one foot below rule curve. The normal minimum flow of 2000 cfs will not be impacted. |
