Twice recently I have attempted to drop/add a player only to be denied by another team 'drafting' them first.  Does the drop/add work on a 'first come first serve' based on when you put in your request?   Is there any way to see if a player you are trying to add is already in the 'queue' for another team?

P.C., apparently there is a drop/add priority order that rotates each week.  If you put in for a player on waivers, and another team above you in the rotation wants the same player, then you lose.  My way around that is to select maybe three options to add.  I put the one I want most on top, etc.  I put the same player as the one to drop.  Then, maybe I will get one.  If the first one takes then the other two are denied because you no longer have the player to drop.

Now for the disclaimer:  I am probably the only team to have added a defense and dropped the same defense in the same week, so take my advice with grain of salt.

Not quite the same thing but I wonder about that 5 minutes before game time.  Lets say I have a player whose team plays on Thursday nite, but I really don't want that one for the Saturday games. Could I play that player and then change that player after the first game of the week is played?

one of the things that i have noticed is the order on the right side of the menu when you drop and add. it appears that it is reverse order of the standings. this makes some sense as it allows for those at the bottom of the standings to have first shot at a player. second question is no. once a players team has played you can't make any changes to his status.

Lakngulf and Talisi are both correct with info provided.
