I have seen two eagles and 4 of 5 Osprey's on the lake, the Osprey's have a white underbody that you see when they are flying, one was going down to the water trying to catch fish. Late Friday around 5:30 there was around 30 - 40 large birds soaring across the lake, I could not see what kind they were, I have never seen hawks or other birds of prey in this large of numbers but that is about the size & how they soared. It was near Lakeside, did anyone else see them.

I've seen eagles a couple of times now but it's still a thrill every time. The only nest I know of is near the Renfroe VFD on Renfroe Road. Someone said there is one near Stemley Bridge but I haven't seen it or the birds.
I was flying around the lake a few weekends ago in a little airplane and one of the eagles flew under me about 50 feet. Which was pretty amazing considdering I was only 100 feet or so.
Hawks are abundant and osprey are visable fairly often.
Peace, <>< TC
