I have a Hydro-Hoist boat lift that has developed a leak.  At first I thought it was leaking between the hose and tank and that a new clamp would repair it.  After two new clamps and the leak remaining the same I think it is in the piece that the air hose fits over.  It appears to be metal that has rusted.  The tanks are fiberglass and I can't imagine putting a metal nipple in an area that stays moist 50% of the time.  Any ideas?  I'm on Center Hill in Tennessee so I can't call on Cat, or House for a service call.  Thanls!

Any ideas how they attach to the tanks?  Once I take the air hoses off I will need to be able to finish the job quickly.  The nearest hardware store is 30 minutes away so I need all my supplies lined up at the start.

Have you tried searching under hydro hoist??? You can call some of the dealers or better call the tech department at the company. I have found they are always helpful.

I always head to the internet first but there is little tech info on these lifts.  I did call HH and found out there is a stainless nipple his replaceable.  I'll pick a couple up this week and replace them both while I'm at it.

Stopped by Hydro Hoist of Tennessee in Baxter this morning.  I picked up the two replacement parts but was offered much more than I asked for.  We went out back to see a tank configuration to make sure I knew how to replace the parts.  Then they called one of their techs who talked me through the process and problems I would likely encounter and how he works around them.  Back in the office they asked if I had plugs to keep the tanks from sinking and gave me a set of used ones.  And then gave me a copy of the installation instructions and parts lists for my model.  Needless to say, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!!
