I'm on Lake Allatoona in Georgia and have some projects I'd like some of the knowledgeable people here to help educate me on.

1) I have snap in carpet that has worn over the 5 years I've owned the boat.  Always had a couple of bad stains too so I'm looking for full replacement of 4 panels, all snap in.  The boat is a 24' and I don't have precise measurements of the carpet yet but was wondering for a good grade, rubber backed carpet with snaps what this will run me?  Would anybody ever suggest/recommend putting in Hydro-Turf or equivalent?

2) the exterior paint job on the boat had a good bit of taping/stripes as part of the accents.  Some/lots of the tape has peeled off (some had even when I purchased the boat) and the color (dark green) of the boat has faded quite a bit too.  What would a paint job cost (again - looking for a ballpark on a 24') assuming similar coverage to picture attached?

3) adding a fold wake tower that either fits with the existing Bimini top or would have its own bimini top to replace what I have.  tower would have to be foldable as my boat sits so high up on the trailer with the cat hull it already is a high profile.  I am familiar with a tower company in Texas but their $2000 price tag uninstalled without speakers etc. is a bit rich for me   ( http://www.samsonsports.com/index.html?gclid=CNLw0db-naUCFeJN5QodEGEMHw )

4) if I paint the exterior, and decide to change colors, interior seating would be different.  Long term what does replacing some seating cost?  See picture showing extent of color in the existing seating:

Thanks for any advice, also looking for somebody to do whatever work I go with.

I'd forget the paint if it were mine. Have someone wetsand the boat and then buff (if the color is gelcoat, as most are). I'll bet she'll shine great and all that color will come back out. Ask Lil Talisi about that. Replace the accent stripping is easy enough as well. Give her a good interior detail, an replace that carpet you speak of and it'll stand tall. I'd guess all of the above less than $1,800. Being that it is a CAT hull, you must keep it lookin' good.lol. I'd love to have the work. Bling it on! Just sayin'. Steve

I agree with Cat, please don't paint gelcoat unless it is a clear coat over metalflake. Make sure you have someone polish it that has done it before. I would recommend only marine carpet. It you decide to glue it down make sure you seal the holes if you remove the snaps. Keep the boat out of the sun when it is not used. For the best price have it looked at by the person doing the work. There are a few places in our area that can do the work but are you willing to haul it down here?
