I'm knid of new to the striper fishing game and was looking for a little help. I've been following yall on this forum for a few months now; and all the advice has helped a lot. Last month I went out a few times and saw what I'm assuming were striper and white bass all around the Dixie Sailing Club area 30ft deep in 60ft of water. I went back last week and there was nothing Was just wondering if anyone knew where they moved to?

That's a very good question. Stripes left the area around the sailing club in late October and moved into the Blue Creek area for a couple of weeks. They seem to have vanished since then. We have scouted all their traditional haunts recently, but there is no one home. Some folks believe they are back into their spring pattern and moving around in the creeks. Maybe so, but you couldn't prove it by me. They should start being more predictable when the water temp drops a few more degrees. Right now the temps are in the low 60's, ideal for stripes. To me that indicates that they can wander virtually anywhere in the lake and be content. That makes them very tough to locate and even tougher to stay on top of from day to day. Good luck hunting for them.
