When go out to dine in we either go to MiPablito,which is a great place in downtown Eclectic for the BEST authentic mexican around or take a short drive to Redhill cafe on Hwy229 near the old school house. It has the best meat and 3 in the entire county! Closed mon-tues. Sometime we go to Santuck to Truman's for some great catfish on hwy 9! He's open just for dinner thursday -sat. 5-8pm. Our Fathers Place is another good place in downtown Eclectic for breakfast or lunch,serving till 3:30pm, very quiet with good food. These are my 4 favorite places. We tried Bubba Mmms once and won't be back....

My neighbor said they went by there (Bubber's) and they have a sign saying they are closed till March. Amanda went to Red Hill today and said the pecan pie was excellent.

Everything (except maybe the steak on friday nights) is excellent at Redhill cafe,I kid you not.Meatloaf to die for and veggies are out of this world.Breakfast is served fridays and saturday,it's real good too. Also on friday nights next door at the school house is free music friday from 6:30 to 9...It's really good! Especially with a good meal before hand! I can't seem to catch the Ann st cafe in Tallassee open but when it is it's mighty good too!! It's where Noels was.....

Yeah, we're big Red Hill fans too and have been regulars since they opened. I prefer their sandwiches and I like them all.

Yeah ain't it great!! Hmmm,never tried any of their sandwiches. I'll have to try them sometime . The meat and 3 is an overwhelming draw that is hard to resist and never disappoints! The steak is the only thing I've had complaints on but I'm not much of a steak person so that's OK. Everything else is PERFECTION!! Try MiPublitos in Eclectic sometime for good Mexican,great food at a great price. Tele is 334-541-2151. Take care!

For sandwiches, the ham and turkey come with slaw on top and are excellent. BBQ is also excellent. Meatloaf is very good and and I like the Burgers on occasion (but they are not a regular thing).
Been to both Mexican places many times....have had good and average experiences at both, but my favorite local Mexican dish is at Ranchito Morin.

You make an excellent point, Larry. Behind that is the King Burrito with salad and guacamole....fajitas are good too.

I had lunch today at Redhill cafe. Man was it great.Chicken and dressing,hash brown cassarole,baked beans and layered salad. I took a friend who had never been there. Yes he liked it too!! Thanks for the tip on the sandwhich!
