These last two games clarified our pool contenders.  Talisi and P.C. are neck and neck with the game this morning determining the winner, place and show.
Good luck to you both, but I gotta root for Pitt.
Guess Oregon is worried about Fairley.  Making noise about he is a dirty player is what I feel is an attempt to get the officials to jump all over him. Keep it up.  More n likely the Tigers will play that much harder like they did with all the Cam stuff this year.  Feel like it pulled the team closer together and more focused.

I think that strategy just inspires NF...sure hope the refs don't send an unjustified "shot over the bow" as in the 'bama game. I think the officials last night had decided before the game not to throw a flag unless it was really flagrant...appeared that they let a lot of stuff go.

I used to ref soccer for quite a few years. We'd talk to players and give em verbal warning for infractions that did not affect the play. Yes, that is subjective.  Being a ref is hard.  You want to keep the game in the players hands, yet you gotta keep the game even.  And make no mistake, college kids are darn good, it takes a good official to call a good game. Ain't easy.

You are right about that...the majority do an amazing job considering the speed and complexity of the college game...

It's the pickers short bus for me, and I have a front row seat.
