I never did any ice fishing for stripes. Too cold for this kid to do any fishing even in Florida.

Went out Sunday morning (1-23-11) and headed toward the Big Kowaliga / Parker Creek area. Water temp was 46 degrees and it was remarkably clear. I was trolling striper baits from 15-25 feet down, but the graph showed very few marks of any kind. There was one other boat out there and it looked like he was trolling live bait up close to the banks on planer boards. One thing we had in common was that the net didn't come out of the rack.
