One of the top high school offensive linemen in the nation said this morning he'll sign with Auburn on Feb. 2.
Christian Westerman, rated as the No. 1 guard in the nation by Scout, chose Auburn over Texas at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Ariz. He had been committed to Texas.
He's Auburn's 19th commitment for the 2011 signing class.
The 6-foot-5, 288-pounder will be far from home, but not from family. His grandparents live on Lake Martin near Auburn. He visited Auburn in December.

A National Championship helps recruiting big time. Other than that>>> He's getting:::
- The most beautiful lake in the USA maybe 45 minutes away
- Access to a certified Chicken Auction
- Access to the best BBQin the world from our chefs
- Cool, calm and quiet evenings and mornings to relax,
and , maybe, get to know his Grandparents better. Hope he understands the gift he is given.

Just don't give him a lift on a golf cart, a free meal anywheres, or buy any sports memorabilia from him. And nobody lend him a boat to have some fun on our lake with his buddies. Heaven forbid, we'd be contributing to destroying his purely amateur status.
