I have a 2008 Harris 250SEL with a Merc 350Mag. Merc is offering me an extended warranty for about $400.00 per year What do you think ??????

if you buy it for three years, I know you will spend $1200....if you don't there is a pretty good chance you won't and a slight chance you will spend more. I'd keep the money in the bank and self insure.

MERC 350MAG is pretty Bullet proof. Just keep it serviced really good. Plug it in to a laptop on occassion and check it all over. It'll Love you long time.

..agree with McGill about playing the odds...if it is a good deal for them, it is probably not for you...but I only know about odds, not motors..that's why we turn to Cat and his expertise..

I sent you an e-mail earlier this afternoon...will have my surgery on the 10th and hope to get back to the 'puter to get my picks in on time...plate of ribs, huh?...maybe I will just cancel surgery and opt for the ribs...thanks
