I wish I understood it too. Just not smart enough to figure it out I guess. This morning was the first I had seen it in the daylight since Tuesday. My pier is under there somewhere I hope.

According to Alabama Power website, the water is still rising. At 9am the site stated the level was 469.5, at 12:30pm the site says 469.92 and still climbing. I hope it doesn't go much higher.

470.19 and still rising.  I am like you Steve I do not understand why all the lakes except Weiss and Logan are below winter pool levels.  I have tried to get answers from Alabama power before but have only received a reply once after last years flood.

There reply was Weiss and Logan Martin are the flood control lakes all the others are listed as what comes in goes out, but that's not what we're seeing.  I asked about Henry being so low and he indicated that that lake comes up so fast they need to drop it in case.

If you raised the other lakes to their winter pool levels, considering the size of each lake and the water displaced, Logan Martin would be at 466.4 ft now.  I guess it's political and Logan Martin residence complain the least.
