Got to the lake about 8:30. Found the water around Wind Creek a bit murky and with considerable trash floating around. I hit some creeks in the area and found bass under wood up to 2 pounds hitting on soft plastic, GP Liz worked well. Caught 8 in about 3 hours and then decided to scout around with my Hummer 998C SI. Went up Sturdivant and found many schools of medium sized fish...don't know if they were Crappie,large Shad, or White Bass...but there were about 15 separate schools of them toward the end of the creek. Looks as though they are refurbishing the A Frame on the point near the back. Side creek was full of floating trot lines.....aggravating.

If you're referring to refurbishing as collecting different pieces of old earthmoving equipment and broken down vehicles, then yes, he is refurbing the place.

And how about the guy next to the A frame with the sail boat anchored out in the middle of the slough so nobody will make a wake near his pier. Give me a break. Needs a ticket from the marine police for not having lights on his vessel at night.
