For those of you who appreciate golf, this event was spectacular. The scenery around the course, the foliage, the cut of the greens and fairways, all were immaculate. Did anybody notice that the cart paths were "Green"? Cellphones and cameras are banned. Overly exuberant fans are shown the exit quickly. Even a dress code applies to the players as well as fans,,,, and it is enforced. Strictly. At least one sport/one event that has not buckled under to the pressures of major sports. Jerry Jones bite your tongue!!

Excellent post, Mack! Although not a big golf fan, I never miss the Masters. You said it perfectly. There is a calmness...a sense of civility...and the scenery is unmatched anywhere....did not notice the green paths (guess that was the general idea)
