iN typical government way, the people that run the release gates at Tahoe City are doing their best to crush the private businesses that do river rafting ops on the Truckee River. In my considered opinion it is all part of the not-so-subtle anti-business attitude of the current administration.the lake is coming up at a rate of about one inch per day. The inflows are stupendous, but the releases are nominal.Why?
At current inflow rates, the lake will be at the max level in approximately two weeks. What up! Oh -I forgot it's the government.
