Going to try my first brisket on the Egg this weekend. Plan to kick it off Friday night with an ETA of Saturday afternoon. Actually, with the temps forcast for the weekend, I may not need charcoal - just put the meat in the grill and let her bake!

You might be right!! Roll it out in the sun and I bet you could get to 225* easy.

I have a brisket, four chickens and a small (3 rib) rack of beef ribs on the smoker already. The brisket should be done around midnight and the chickens and ribs done around 9 tonight. Temps aren't too bad up here, 86* today and tomorrow, low 90's for the rest of the weekend.

2 pork picnik shoulders + 1 small brisket + 4 babyback racks for meats. The 22 guests are bringing sides. If they don't, then somebody else is going into Alex City quickly for side dishes.

You better check your Egg first thing Sat morning as the brisket may be missing.

Jim you find the dead rattlesnake I put on the egg as the brisket was missing. Did come by Saturday mid day but pontoon was gone.

Snake turned out better than the brisket. Was out looking for a cool place to swim.
