The Board of LakeFest met this morning and set the date for 2012. Here's the skinny: May 5 10 am - Till TBD At Horizons on Logan Martin Lake Sponsorship packages are currently being defined, as are vendor booth pricing structures and the event layout. I'll share more information as I get it. E

They might consider putting the band stage at the waters edge so that boats came come and anchor to listen. Something like the Aquapaloosa on Lake Martin but on a smaller scale

Mike, we had a group of boats pull into the slips and while we could not see the stage the music was loud and clear. Not sure if the stage would fit out where the Ford cars were or not but that would be a nice place. I would like to suggest that an area be marked for boats that do want to anchor down as a "no wake zone". I know we saw several boats tied together that could not relax because of the boats coming through wide open. and rocking the tied up boats uncontrolably.
