WEEK 5: By hitting 11 of his last 12 picks, BLMEANIE took the honors for week 5 with a total of 14 points (78%). WAREAGLE2010 edged out AUBURNGIRL on the tiebreaker score for the 2nd best showing for the week at Pooltracker. In the overall, BLMEANIE made a big move and slipped into a tie with JACK4TIDE in the top spot with JIMBOB and many others close behind. In a couple of weeks, we will start looking at the 'drop worst 2 weeks' standings. Congrats to the leaders and get ready for week 6.

Perhaps we should consider a drop the worst two "players", and man, I would be in the running for that.
Congrats to Ol' Meanie, and others, so far ahead of me that I cannot see the leaders.

The big ol Meanie is holding first by a half game in the fantasy league too, but Pam (Mrs. Talisi) gave us all a whoopin this week and moved into 6th overall. The top 6 are only separated by 5 points, so the field is wide open. The top 6 are Blmeanie, Dang Yankee, ot, Big Foot, Pam's Pom Poms, and Mcgill....LaknGulf isn't far behind. There's still plenty of time for others to make strategic trades and move up......already looking forward to Saturday!

Sure was a lot of red on the board this week. I know I made some really stupid picks but a bunch of teams didn't cover the spreads. And for the record, I didn't mean to pick Florida. That was an honest mistake on my part that I didn't catch until it as too let.

I noticed the abundance of red on the board too...most we have had to date...undefeated and ranked teams feeling the pressure...
