year round? we had it winterized last year and put it up in the lift; we avoided the fllod and it was fine, but scarey; I need to know what is the MAX the Power CO will let it get above full pool;someone suggested to measure taht to the bottom of the boat and see if you can get it up high enough. Of course the winds and storms are another matter. I feel like I paid for the lift ad then to store it for 6 months($$$) is a waste but I know if it washes away its more foolish, albeit its insured BUT I got such a sweet deal on it used that won't likely happen again; anyone else use the lift year round or am I the ONLY idiot on the lake? thnx@ dogdoc

You should post this on your lake topics page to get input for your lake.....the Maintenance forum includes all lakes that "Lakes Online" covers (which is many). On Lake Martin many folks leave their boats on the lift all year with no problems, but each lake is different.
