The reunion

Jan, Sue and Mary were close friends in high school but haven't seen each other since graduating 17 years ago. They make contact on a reunion website and set a date at an upscale bistro.
Jan arrives first wearing smashing Versace. She orders a $90 bottle of muersault. Sue arrives a few minutes later in an elegant gray Chanel. After the ritual of hugs and kisses she joins Jan in a glass of wine. Mary walks in wearing an old tee shirt and faded jeans and scruffy hiking boots. She orders a pitcher of beer.
Jan explains that after high school she entered Princeton and got a masters in Classics. She married Tim who is now a partner in one of the largest law firms in the city. They have two beautiful daughters and live in a 5500SF house in an exclusive golf club community and have a mountain place in Highlands.
Sue explains that she went to medical schools and is now an orthopedic surgeon with some of the cities best known atheletes as clients. She met her husband Clive on a trip to England. He is now a cardiac surgeon. They have no children and live in a new loft condo overlooking the city skyline but try to spend at least a month a year in a 16th century farmhouse they have restored in Tuscany.
Mary explains that when she left high school she ran off with her drop-out ne'r-do-well boyfriend Bobby. They live in a trailer in central Florida and make it a point not to work more than is absolutely required. They do grow their own food including a bit of marajuana and run what is loosely called a "tropical bird park". Five of their parrots can perch on side by side on Bobby's "tool".
From there on it's small talk and more and more bottles of wine and pitchers of beer. After several hours Jan suddenly blurts out "Oh hell, who am I kidding, my husband is actually a warehouse worker at Walmart and we live in a rundown apartment in the worst part of the inner suberbs. We're the only people in the complex that speaks English. We rent a travel trailer to go to Harrah's in Cherokee in the summer"
Sue, chastened and encouraged by Jan's honesty and perhaps too much wine explains "Clive is really from south Georgia. He and I are actually both orderlies in a nursing home, we live in a dump in the inner city and spend our vacations at my Grandma's run down old place in Alabama."
Mary feeling a little guilty confesses "Well, actually the 5th parrot has to stand on one leg."
