Went out Friday after the storms and the Wind Creek area was muddy. Caught a few in the Paces Peninsula area. Went out today and the Wind Creek area was worse. Just as muddy but with debris everywhere and the mud had moved just north of Paces Peninsula. Looked up river towards 280 and didnt look any better. Fished Hog Pen, Sandy, and humps by Paces Point where the water was clear and couldn't find bait or stripes anywhere. More storms tomorrow with the ground this saturated won't help. Any places to fish this time of year when the entire north side is muddy?

Stripes are tough to catch in muddy water. Since visibility is diminished, you might want to use deep diving crank baits with a built in rattle and maybe a spray on scent product. The area between the Ridge marina and Kowaliga bridge seem to be the last areas to get stained. It might not be all that great, but it's probably better than areas closer to the main tributaries. Good luck!
