...just curious, maddog, is Bike Week in Daytona the same time as the 500?...do you ride yours down there?

No....that area of FL could not handle that many race fans and motorcycle fans at the same time. The 500 is Feb 26th and Bike Week goes from March 9th to the 18th. When I first started going to Bike Week in 1995, I would trailer my bike and now when I go, I ride down. However, I've been skipping BW and taking long trips to other parts of the US. This year we will do a 13 day trip and do Historic Route 66 from OK City to Chicago. We will judge two bbq contest during the trip. One in Tunica, MS and the other in Murphysboro, IL. Lots of good ridin' and barbecue eatin'.

My goodness! Some folks know how to live...better lock up your bike while in the casinos...
