I currently have a 1998 Sea Doo Spx 2 stroke of course. I am having problem when the boat gets to full throttle. The boat will run full throttle but as soon as it planes it starts sputtering and drops to about 15 mph and continues to sputter. If I let off the throttle it begins to run fine. Once I go back into full throttle it runs fine until it planes out again. I changed out the plugs and it keeps doing it. I'm thinking a fuel supply issue. I just wanted to get a few opinions before I get the carb rebuilt. Thanks

I would assume a fuel pump or carb issue. But if I go any further, I'll get knocked over the head. If you can get "weedoseadoo" to answer he will know for sure. Otherwise, I'll give it my best shot if you bring it too us.

I had the same problem and changed the fuel filter and it ran fine.
