Derby was really good. Wife used to go every year in a former life when she know the people in charge of the start. Got paddock passes and everything. One of those lifetime experiences if you can get there.

Yes...there is something about the Derby that no other race can match. I was picking Calvin Borrell's horse #3 since he had ridden winners in 3 of the last 5 races...he finished next to last...
