Some low life scum chopped down trees, stole the hammock, solar lights and generally vandalized the place. The owner has gone to great expense and effort to give this nice place to the community. If anyone has any information on these cretins please call Lake Watch. Also please help us take care of this gathering place and watch out for vandals.

A friend of mine rode by there yesterday and said the island looked like it always had and that there was a girl climbing in one of thwe palm trees...... could you have gotten bad information or was the island repaired since the weekend?

The owner and I went out and cleaned up the place a bit. The hammock was stolen as was the solar lights some of the smaller trees were cut down (owner burned them). Several other things were destroyed.
Please, everyone watch for these vandals. The owner has gone to great trouble and expense to give this to the community. Let's all respect it.
