The 2012 Annual Meeting for LMLPA is Set for Thursday, July 19, at 6:30 PM at the Pell City Civic Center. All members and prospective members are encouraged to attend.

· LakeFest Donation Presentation to LMLPA

· Guest Speaker: Alan Peeples, P.E. Supervisor - Reservoir Management with Alabama Power

o Hydro Operations on the Coosa: The Ups and Downs of Water Management on the Coosa River (This will give attendees a chance to ask questions about the lake level on Logan Martin)

· Also in attendance will be Alyson Fuqua Public Affairs with Alabama Power

· Election of Board Members and Officers of LMLPA

We'll be there and hope there's a big crowd. Thanks to the efforts of several people, we have some momentum going and need to show our support as much as possible. I like the direction that this group is moving. One thing that seems to be missing though is the open support of Pell City, Riverside, Lincoln, etc. All these cities rely heavily on the lake and its condition for sales tax, property tases, general health of the area economically, etc. How can we get them actively involved in our organization? They carry clout that none of us as individuals have.
