Welcome to the SEC, Texas A&M. Florida 20, Texas A&M 17. You are most welcome to go back to the Big 12 whenever you want to.

Personally, I think A & M and Mizzou are good additions for the SEC.  Both are solid teams and I think will be very competitive in the conference.  I was bewildered by Muschamp's jab at the A & M fans after the game...there seems to be deep-seated hostility there on both sides.  He should remember that, if he sticks around long enough, he will have to make a return trip to College Station.

I totally agree that Mizzou is a welcome addition to the SEC.

A&M and Mizzou are great additions IMHO. I'm not sure I like the concept getting the SEC any bigger though. I think it cheapens the league.

Now as to A&M, it has a great history and who else could stand up the whole game anyway. Great folks and a great tradition. Class act.

I knew nothing about Mizzou but one thing interesting I noted in the UGA game was they were really clean cut, sportsmanlike and respectful of the game and the refs. There were no cheap shots that I saw - unlike my old buddy Fairley who was the master of the cheapshot-  and I got the feeling this was a disciplined, clean playing bunch of kids that probably reflects the program and its coach. Maybe they are a bunch of antiques but we'll see how it plays out.

Go Dawgs! (The Athens version:-)
