No one is posting anything ? Headed to Martin Friday , can anyone help me since I am not able to fish martin as much as id like too ? Looking to catch a few spots of large mouth. Has the top water bite started . Anything would be a help...........thanks

Catching 2.5+ spots running 30' down. Seem to be schooling with stripes at times. Also seeing small spots chasing shad on top. Stripes are moving all up and down the lower half of the lake getting ready to make their move to environs closer to the river. Small grubs and spoons are working well this month.

Not a bad day!! This is two of the eight we got today in the mouth of Ware’s Slough,
25-30' down on riggers! Seven stripers and one spot! The spot came on my homemade “DoRig”!

One striper came on my blue Mylar “DoJig” with a stinger twister! The rest came on the ‘go-to’ white buck tail jig and stinger twister!

I don't know about the stripes since they don't really like my neighborhood, but I did catch some spots on crankbaits yesterday. Not much schooling action yet. Always have something that you can cast a mile that looks like a shad rigged up this time of year for when something starts busting shad on the surface.

Shad breaking the surface up around dennis and wind creek just before dusk tonight.
